1. About This Policy

Scoreboard Control is developed and published by iCatcher Digital Signs (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the Scoreboard Control mobile application handles information on your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Scoreboard Control does not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, address)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising IDs, or similar)
• Location data of any kind
• Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting
• Browsing history or any activity outside the app
• Camera, microphone, or contacts data
• Payment or financial information
• IP addresses or network information about your device

We have no servers, no database, no back-end, and no accounts system. There is nothing to collect your data with, and nowhere to send it.

3. What the App Stores on Your Device

Scoreboard Control stores a small amount of configuration data locally on your device only, which includes:

• Selected sport type (e.g. Basketball, Hockey, AFL)
• Scoreboard IP address and port you configure
• Display settings (screen size, colour mode)
• Advertising text you create within the app
• Timer and shot-clock default values
• Team names and colour preferences

This data is stored solely on your device. It is never transmitted to us, any third party, or any cloud service.

4. Local Network Communication

The app sends UDP packets to a scoreboard controller on your own local Wi-Fi network, using only the IP address and port you configure yourself. These packets contain scoreboard display commands only (scores, timers, team names, advertising text). No personal information is ever included in these packets, and they never leave your local network or reach any server operated by us.

On iOS, the app requests Local Network permission solely to enable this local hardware communication. This permission is not used for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

Scoreboard Control contains no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking. There are no integrations with Facebook, Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, or any similar service. We do not share any data with any third party because we do not have any data to share.

6. Children’s Privacy

Scoreboard Control is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects absolutely no data from any user, there is no personal information at risk regardless of the user’s age.

7. Data Security

Because we collect, transmit, and store no personal data on any server, there is no personal data of yours for us to protect or for anyone to breach. Settings stored locally on your device are protected by your device’s own operating system security.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
